Monday, Monday: Bizness in da front, lady-hawk in the back

How was your weekend? Mine was lovely - got back from a working vacation in Tejas, where i got lots of sun and Tex-Mex. I had such a nice trip home. I got to play with some of my favorite people, including my sister and sister-in-law. We went shopping at Forever21, where my sister (right) got this AMAZING maxi skirt:

Srsly, how cute are these babes? They are two of the most amazing women. And they look this cute all the time - they both have fabulous fashion sense. I'm always inspired by them, in so many ways. They work so hard and love so hard and make me giggle and make me think. I lub them.


In other news - my hair faded rullly fast. It went from this at the beginning (february) to this 3 weeks ago:

Wardrobe Wednesday: Takin' Care of Bizness

Lovelies,

Today, I was helping some darling new friends move into their new home. Needless to say, the "wardrobe" element was NOT top priority.

But then I thought, "Hey, some of my readers are awesome people doing awesome volunteer projects, but they also might, like, have a crush on someone they are doing Habitat for Humanity/community garden/whatever with. How can you be adorable and still practical for  manual labor?"

I also remembered: "OH SHIT IT'S WEDNESDAY AND I HAVE TO TAKE PICTURES!"

Wardrobe Wednesday: JUST KIDDING IT'S THURSDAY

How has your week been? My Boo got back Tuesday, so we've been cuddling and having a jolly good time.
You'll notice my photos today and significantly better than usual - Boo has a good eye, and since he's in town, I had him take my photos today. MUSH BETTA.

Makeup Monday: Purple Hair+Hunger Games

You know how much I love my hair stylist, Emily.She just rocks so hard. :)
Well, last week I was overdue for a trim and color. At this point, I trust her so much that I don't feel the need to bring photos or anything unless we are doing a huge change. Her judgement is good enough for me. 
So, I sat down in the chair and we started discussing what we would do with my hair. In have been lusting after brightly colored hair for a while, especially after my trip to NY in September, where I saw girls with pink and pastel hair everywhere. 
I mentioned in passing that I wish I could have purple hair, and Emily kind of looked at me and said "Well, why not...?"
We hopped in the car and went to the beauty supply, and picked up the dye. AND NOW I HAVE PURPLE HAIR! 

Wardrobe Wendesday: New Hair!

Darlings, I did something new today.
I dyed my hair LIGHTER. I've never ever gone lighter. I'm always the girl with slightly-too-dark hair. ;)
But I wanted to change it up, so I took this photo to my Stylist:

My new stylist, Emily, is a rock star. She cut my hair last week, and I had such confidence in her that I let her do the unthinkable - bleach my pixie.
