Necklace infatuation

Hello, loves!

I am a necklace girl for sure. I think a lovely necklace can make such a statement with the right outfit. I found this on etsy today, and I can hardly handle my feelings:

Love Me Forever Necklace
find it here.

Isn't this so precious? It would be great with an elegant dress, or really cute with a simple top and jeans.

What are your thoughts? Are you a necklace girl?

New pants!

Hello, darlings! I am back from Thanksgiving, ready to eat nothing but salads and soup for the next year. :)
I hope your holiday was lovely. I spent time with my favorite people, did some shopping, and ate far too much. My shopping consisted of these items:

1. Jeans from Urban Outfitters:

High Rise Cigarette Jean
2. Boots:

Miz Mooz
Find it here.

It was a lovely week of playing with loved ones. :) And new boots always make things good.

How was your holiday? Did you make any great purchases? I would love to hear your Thanksgiving stories!

Hello, darlings!
I am floating around visiting my familia, and I left my laptop at home. :) I will not be able to post for a few days. Please don't forget me - I certainly won't forget you while I am shopping for new inspiration here! Check back after the weekend, mk? :)

Have a wonderful, marvelous, loverly Thanksgiving - enjoy, have fun, and I will see you next week!

Handbag love

Darlings, the search for a beautiful bag is seemingly endless...
I have the terrible habit of buying cheap-ish bags, using them until they are ugly, and then taking a hundred years to commit to a new one. I do not recommend this.
Instead, I think you would be so happy to have a few beautiful, high-quality purses. That way you can rotate, and none of them ever get too trashed. :) The trick is to not go tooooooo trendy, but if you are keeping your costs down, you can afford to get an "it-bag" every season while keeping a rotation of classic pieces as well.
I found this one on Etsy, and I love it:
Find it here.

I think it is so pretty - and the seller says it can be used 4 ways! Gotta love versatility.

Tell me: do you love it? How do you choose/organize your handbag collection?

My friend, AnnieBSP

Hello, dolls!
Today I want to share with you the super-fun knitted items made by my lovely friend, Amy. Her Etsy shop, AnnieBSP, is full of cute hats, bags, and headbands. She makes them by hand with lots of love and a handful of wit. I especially like this one:
Find it here.

What do you think? Can you see yourself sporting a funky hat this winter?

Let me know!

Dress it up or down - and be a babe either way!

I have an older version of this dress( technically it is my mother's - she generously lets me borrow it).
I think this version is simply lovely. It would look beautiful in a somewhat formal context, or add boots and a cardigan and it makes a perfect date-night dress.
What do you think, loves?

Staying warm

Darlings, if you live in Texas, you know that the days when you need a full-on winter coat are limited. However, who doesn't feel GORGEOUS in a winter coat?

So, here is one from anthropologie that looks like a lovely winter coat, but is actually a wool sweater:

Alice in Autumn Sweatercoat

You could look warm and nuzzly without sweating - sounds great to me! What do you think?

Have a happy day, lovelies!

My beautiful friend, Laurs

Laurie is one of my dearest friends in the world. She is smart, witty, clever, and totally beautiful. Problem is, until about a year ago, her grad-student money left little room for her to have a cool closet.
We hang out all the time, and naturally we started shopping together. Over the course of several months, with much planning, coffee, magazines, and love, we revamped her wardrobe.
Most of the stuff we purchased were basics, which I showed her how to accessorize. :) Now that Winter is almost upon us and I'm no longer in the same town, she got a bit nervous about how to update her stuff! So, we did an online seasonal update. Here are some of the things she is going to be sporting this season:

This is the epitome of what I hope for when styling someone - empowerment, confidence, and freedom. While the main pieces are things we found together, she has totally taken over and most of the updating was done by her, with me simply there for support and direction.

VICTORY! I LOVE THIS! We can do this, ladies - let's be awesome, confident, sassy foxes together.
