It is hot today, and we have a long weekend - meaning casual-cute is in order!

I admit, I didn't really jump on the jumper band-wagon ;) last year, even though I liked them. It just wasn't something I ever prioritized, somehow. 
However, the trend is still going strong, and my mama took me shopping, so I decided to give it a shot!

How was your Easter weekend? Mine was lovely... A long, sunny day with my Boo. :)
A few weeks ago, I was in Austin visiting some of my favorite people, one of whom happens to work with L'oreal... She gets all kinds of stuff for free, and she brought me this:

When my friend gave this to me, she said, " It is amazing - you don't have to retouch for HOURS."

I've heard this before... but my lips get all peely and weird with long-last lipstick. So, I had my doubts.

I was so, so wrong to make assumptions. I put this on at around 6pm. Went out for drinks with friends. Came home late. It still looked awesome. 

Woke up the next morning.. IT STILL LOOKED AWESOME! 

Holy moses. It lasts for 20 hrs. And doesn't make your lips peely.
Get some. :) And then tell me how much you love it.

Cajun Shrimp - not just for eating.

It has been a while! Woof - busyness. :)
It is now warm here in Tyler, and I went to Austin and hit Barton Springs with my friends last weekend. In preparation for that, I painted my nails this color:

This is the nail polish that gets oohs and aahs every time.

It is a sassier version of a classic orange-red. It makes your nails look awesome. :)

I highly recommend investing in a bottle. Getcha some.

Also - I miss you, darlings. I will be more consistent, I promise. ;)
