Last weekend one of my dearest lovelies from Austin came to visit. We did lots of fun stuff, but mostly we ate and did vintage shopping. :) I am extremely proud of the things we got. Here are my goods:

Makeup Monday: False Lashes Tutorial

Darlings,
Remember how I had that fancy photoshoot last week? And how I mentioned the makeup I would use? Well, today I wanted to show how I got those big, fabulous eyes and looked much better than usual. The key? Individual false eyelashes. I like them better that strip lashes for photography because the look is somehow both more dramatic AND more natural. It's just so glamorous, and you can't see the strip, so it really tricks the eye.

Lovelies,

As I told you Monday, I had a collaborative fashion shoot scheduled with the fabulous Leah Harb. Leah is an immensely talented photographer in the Portland/Vancouver area. Makeup Monday: Photoshoot Makeup DG S/S 2012

Darlings,
I have a photo shoot with my new friend Leah tomorrow, and I can't wait to show you!
I won't tell you too many details, but here's the makeup look I'm dying to try, based on the Dolce&Gabbana Spring/Summer 2012 show makeup:

I'll be headed out in a little bit to pick up some new makeup.


I'm also thinking of incorporating glitter and gold for parts of the shoot, perhaps like this:

Wardrobe Wednesday: Takin' Care of Bizness

Lovelies,

Today, I was helping some darling new friends move into their new home. Needless to say, the "wardrobe" element was NOT top priority.

But then I thought, "Hey, some of my readers are awesome people doing awesome volunteer projects, but they also might, like, have a crush on someone they are doing Habitat for Humanity/community garden/whatever with. How can you be adorable and still practical for  manual labor?"

I also remembered: "OH SHIT IT'S WEDNESDAY AND I HAVE TO TAKE PICTURES!"

Aaaaaand so,
